I Refuse to Be Lonely is the ninth studio album by American Soul singer-songwriter Phyllis Hyman. It was released by Volcano Records posthumously in November 1995, the singer having taken her own life on 30 June 1995.[3]

The album reached #12 in the Billboard R&B album chart, and peaked at #67 in the Billboard 200.[4]
